PRISM Club : A Teen LGBTQ+ Art-Making Collective
Come create glass art in a safe space that thrives on diversity and inclusion.

​GlassRoots' PRISM Club is open to all youth ages 14-18, and preference will be given to LGBTQ+ and BIPOC-identifying youth living in Newark.

The collective aims to support youth in a troubling time within civil liberties and ways of life are in jeopardy across the country.

The club will meet on Saturday afternoons to explore various glassmaking techniques, including glassblowing, flameworking, jewelry fashioning, mosaics, stained glass, and more!

The Youthentr Epreneurial Spirit

Youth Entrepreneurial Spirit (YES) is a unique art and entrepreneurship program designed exclusively for high school students. Artmaking – glassblowing, fusing and flamework – is the catalyst to teach students the fundamentals of business development and management. Once a week, students from schools throughout the region gather to hone their creative thinking and problem-solving skills in our studios. This program is FREE and open to all area high school students.
